Destined for...

Wanted to pen down these two incidents - though silly, in this blog, so that I can never forget in the due course of time....

First One

This thing happened two weeks ago...It was a beautiful Sunday morning but got up late after a tiresome Saturday and rushed for the third service..... after the church service got over, while returning back to room, as it was a hot afternoon, thought of getting a cab since my place is little far .....while I was crossing the road, I saw a bus and I started running to catch it, forgetting the cab which I planned earlier, but indeed that was a vain attempt as the bus driver didn't stop inspite of seeing me approaching :( and the below thoughts started running in my mind......

Regardless of the mode of transportation - cab/bus, the destination (my room) can be reached. In cab, the comfort is more as the price is more :) and in bus - which has less comfort and less price, but both will take to my destination. Since I missed the first bus, I waited for the next bus to come and dropped the idea of cab after this thought :) Finally the bus arrived and I reached my room safely, blogging now :) The mode of transport u take in your journey, has to be considered of least importance and it’s always your choice, but should be concerned more about whether it would take to the destination.

Be sure of your destination in your life journey and not to get lost/distracted/disturbed in the middle! Jus relax and enjoy the life journey by having an experienced Driver without being anxious or scared as He will take us to the destination safely :) This incident was not a new learning but reminded me once again....

The Second

The below incident happened some time back in Feb 2008 - when me and my friends were literally starving for some good food :)...u come to this state i.e. starving for good food, after failing with ur own culinary skills, also trying out in every hotel nearby and fears arise that the taste buds wud definitely loose its functionality.......hence finally we ordered for lunch from Kairali restaurant, after intensive enquiry :) from mallu friends and it was good too....

The interesting thing was that the hotel cheta used to drop the lunch parcels in our office premises itself - near the security guard and we used to collect it from him. Cheta had a gr8 concern for my friend who cannot eat that Kerala rice - fat red rice :) and hence he wud give a parcel of normal white rice separately but curry and everything wud be the same for everyone. Am used to that Kerala rice but as my friend doesn't prefer that inspite of her teeth being bigger than mine :), we both used to share that white rice parcel.

On that day, cheta came and dropped the parcels and few of my mallu friends took it leaving the rest. Unfortunately our white rice parcel was also mixed up with those and now in that cover, it was jus 4 parcels. I wasn't able to distinguish as each parcel was looking similar and if we had to eat in office, we wud have the chance of opening the cover and checking it. But as I had to carry it to the room, I called the other mallu friends thinking that they wud figure out their parcels and leave mine :) They got struck at work and couldn’t arrive, hence asked me to take any one and they told that they are ok with that 1 white rice parcel if they had to have.

I had no other go and had to choose 1 among the 4 parcels but wasn't happy about that. I took one parcel and started walking towards room. All along the way to room, I thought of getting something to eat as nothing was left in room and my friend was already hungry but she cannot manage with this Kerala rice. But again she said a no to my idea and finally we opened the parcel. To our sweet surprise, it was the white rice itself and had chosen the right parcel only!
